The GentleCath™ Intermittent Catheter is designed to make catheter insertion and removal as smooth and easy as possible for the patient. The product features polished and rounded eyelets designed to minimize friction, and has a soft, rounded tip that aids smooth insertion. It is available in male and female straight tip and male Coudé tip (for insertion through complicated passages). The product is available in a wide range of sizes and features color-coded funnels for easy size identification.
GentleCath™ Glide catheters offer the unique FeelClean™ Technology not made with PVP (polyvinylpyrrolidone). PVP is used in glue and is what makes catheters sticky when they dry. Because FeelClean™ Technology integrates the hydrophilic properties within the catheter and doesn’t require a coating, users can enjoy more comfort without the unpleasant mess or residue associated with coated catheters. The GentleCath™ Glide catheters feature a no-touch handling sleeve to help prevent contamination of the catheter with bacteria from the hands. Just break the water sachet inside the pack, open the pack and pull out the catheter. GentleCath™ Glide is ready to use with no waiting or activation time.
